If it’s not clear, the title “iPod Tips & Hints” is included twice. Usually Google doesn’t like something like this. They like some variation. Hrmmm… and if you wanted to know this site is #1 for “ipod tips”.
5 months ago, I launched MacTips.
Since then, it’s been published in a magazine (delivery pending…) and now ranks #1 on Yahoo! and MSN for my main keyword “mac tips”. The almighty G has me at a good looking #3.
Also seeing high rankings for terms like “ipod tricks”, “itunes tricks”, “ipod tips”, “cool mac tricks”, “replace ipod battery” which means the sub pages of the site are actually ranking–which is great news.
Things are looking good for MacTips.
